We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, advanced SQL, and Python programming.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and proven experience in optimizing database performance and implementing robust data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement scalable data pipelines and architectures in Snowflake, optimizing data flow for cross-functional teams.

  2. Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts to support data transformation, aggregation, and analysis.

  3. Utilize Python for automating data processes, integrating data systems, and building advanced analytics models.

  4. Lead data modeling initiatives to ensure integrity and efficiency of data structures.

  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs, gather requirements, and deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.

  6. Ensure data security and compliance measures are implemented, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

  7. Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making and strategy development.

  8. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in data engineering, recommending and implementing improvements to data systems and processes.

  9. Hands on knowledge or exposure to snowflake Cortex

  10. Knowledge of any BI tool is good to have

To be successful in this role you have:

  1. 5-7 years of experience, with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  2. Extensive experience with Snowflake data warehousing, including architecture, management, and Snowpipe.

  3. Strong proficiency in SQL and database development, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.

  4. Advanced programming skills in Python, including experience with data libraries and frameworks like Pandas, numpy, Sklearn, matplot, seaborn

  5. Python hands on experience to do EDA

  6. Solid understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.

  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
