As a member of the STEP (i.e. product, engineering, and customer success) Executive Communications team, you’ll help us bring to life our goal to engage, inspire, and activate employees to live our purpose and values. Everything moves quickly at a high-growth company, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working across the many facets of our team. This includes acting as a project manager for STEP employee programs and initiatives as well as supporting our STEP team communications ecosystem.

How you’ll do it:

· Ecosystem – Let's start at the top... our STEP team communications channel strategy. You’ll learn and model the best practices we’ve created to keep communications centralized, simple, and engaging.

· Team operations and editorial calendar/support – You will help develop operational rigor around communications and programs for STEP executives and employees while helping to drive engagement.

· Project management – You’ll make sure work flows seamlessly across the STEP team as we execute milestone moments including Town Halls, Ask Me Anything sessions, newsletters, awards programs, and other key activities. You’ll also manage feedback communications including surveys and know when to pivot based on survey data.

· Innovation – In our ever-changing world, we know it’s more important than ever to innovate how we communicate. You’ll help us develop new approaches to engage our audience and keep them updated.

· Global Communications team alignment – Partner with others across the broader Communications team to ensure alignment and impact in everything we do.

Who you’ll work with:

Our team works with the STEP executive leadership team and other partners across the company to deliver amazing experiences to our people. You’ll partner across the Office of the President, Communications, Now Productions, Visual Storytelling—just to name a few. Your day-to-day partners will be on the Executive Communications team. We’re laser-focused, yet flexible, and are always up for a new challenge.

Who you are:

You know how to create an engaging communications experience – whether it’s online, at an event, or hybrid in our new world of work. You love to get creative, be part of team, and have good decision-making skills. Your strong communication and project management skills help you influence others. And, your writing and PowerPoint skills are top-notch.

· 5+ years internal and/or external communications experience (experience in the technology sector and with customer-facing employees a plus)

· Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, confidence to develop and present ideas

· Experience with Poppulo or other content management and publishing systems

· Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills

· Creative, visual storyteller (excellent PowerPoint skills a plus!) with an eye for detail

· Resourceful and motivated communicator who can independently prioritize shifting workloads in a high-growth, ever-changing environment

· Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications/public relations or related field
