This is an exciting time to join the team. The team is undergoing a transformation to drive greater outcomes for the EMEA events portfolio. As part of this, the team strives to bring together a diverse team with a breadth of various skill sets to amplify outcomes. The team sits within the EMEA Integrated Marketing. The location of the role can be in London, Staines, or Dublin.

As a key member of the EMEA Strategic Events team, you will play a crucial role in all ServiceNow Pan-European Events. The team is responsible for setting objectives, planning, and executing to deliver results for EMEA Marketing. This is achieved through strategic partnerships with the Major Areas, EFM, Solution Marketing Team, Sales and Brand, to target the right audiences, create amazing experiences, drive meaningful outcomes and generate, accelerate, and close pipeline for the business.

As part of the EMEA Strategic Events team, you will work on various impactful event projects, taking both a supportive and lead role, as required. We’re looking for an event professional who excels in operations and event marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the strategic events and EMEA Marketing vision and strategy via the events channel.

• Support Senior Managers and Director of EMEA events on the execution of a range of flagship events such as Knowledge, World Forums, and Summits. Taking on an integral role as part of the events execution team, delivering memorable customer experiences and driving results-driven outcomes

• Support core elements for the team activation of our larger third-party investments such as Mobile World Congress, Gartner Symposium,

• Own several end-to-end Tier 2 external events, including (but not limited to) trade shows, conferences, seminars, and roadshows.

• Review opportunities to incorporate innovative, digital/virtual experiences in the event experience. Build out a digital event offering for EMEA with the Director of Strategic Events. Research opportunities, vendors, processes and strategies to implement for the 2025 annual calendar.

• Collaborate with key Stakeholders across the EMEA and Global business on audience acquisition and driving innovation and results for EMEA Marketing (Major Areas, Solution Marketing, Global Strategic Events Team, Sales, Brand, etc)

• Set measurable event objectives with the EMEA Director of Strategic Events that are aligned to the overall EMEA Strategic Events strategy and report on core KPIs set, showcasing the impact.

• Ability to share critical insights of the impact of our events, performance, and learnings for all projects delivered.

• Work with a selection of agencies and third-party vendors to deliver excellent results

• Work with legal to negotiate venue/vendor contracts with the most favourable terms for the organisation.

• Support event budgeting for projects owned and supported. Provide regular updates and final reconciliation files for all events for reporting

• 4-6 years of experience working in Events or Field Marketing with an emphasis or background in event marketing or enablement within Tech, conferences, consulting, or other in-house professional services corporations

• Hands-on event planning and execution experience within the matrixed organisation with previous event ownership end-to-end.

• Understanding and experience planning and executing digital and virtual Events, virtual event technologies, strategies, and execution.

• Outstanding project and time management skills. A highly organised self-starter who is detail-orientated and results-driven.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organisation.

• Public speaking with presentation skills, including creating presentations with clear, concise communications for audiences of all levels.

• Ability to be agile in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Can manage competing priorities, multiple tasks and multiple stakeholders

• Entrepreneurial thinker, comfortable recommending new ways of working and sharing innovative ideas

• Competent skills in modern marketing tools and best practices and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

• Fluent in English. Additional European languages are advantageous (especially Spanish and German)
