We are seeking someone with a consulting, investment banking, or similar background to be a Strategic Finance business partner to the ANZ (Australia/New Zealand) leadership team. As a hybrid finance and strategy role, you will support ad hoc strategic projects for ANZ leadership, help manage the ANZ GTM (Go-to Market) budget, and build global best practices for the Finance organisation in international projects.

· Play an integral role in piloting the ANZ business and partner with the leadership teams in ANZ and APAC as a key business partner

· Make strategic recommendations to help the business grow and be successful through your analysis of financial and sales operational data and metrics

· Drive strategic initiatives across the organization including business cases for additional investments and annual & long-range planning, gaining wide exposure across the organization in the process

· Support APAC-wide Finance projects, and help enhance the foundations of FP&A in APAC and globally, in partnership with the rest of the FP&A teams

· Help automate our manual reporting processes and improve existing reports

To be successful in this role you have:

· Exhibit a growth mindset and passion for continuous learning and growth – there will be many opportunities to grow in this role, you need to be eager for that journey

· Are comfortable manipulating and synthesizing data to articulate data-driven insight and influence key stakeholders across the organisation

· Understand fundamental Finance and Accounting acumen and are comfortable with data analytics, building models, forecasting, interpreting financial statements, and reporting

· Bring a strong work ethic and “can do” mindset which enables you to deliver on multiple priorities especially during busier periods including period-end, annual planning, and long-range planning processes

· Demonstrate a developed sense of ownership and have pride in your work’s integrity, quality, timeliness, and accuracy

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with all levels of the organization and across cultures worldwide – you will regularly interact with people across Asia as well as in Europe and North America

· Have 5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, equity research, or FP&A preferably. We will also consider candidates with experience analysing financial and operational metrics
